The sign says Creating and Maintaining Your Outdoor Spaces. This is the maintaining half — mowing, feeding, spraying, pruning and cleaning up, from the first mow in March to the last load of leaves in November.
Two ways to work with us
On a maintenance program. You select the services you want in the spring, sign one agreement, and the property goes onto a route. Somebody is then watching the calendar for it — which matters more than it sounds, because most of this work has a window. Pre-emergent goes down before the weeds germinate, not after you notice them. Aeration wants early fall. Dormant oil is a matter of weeks. A property on a program does not miss those. A property waiting for a phone call usually does.
One job at a time. Call when you need something and we will quote it and fit it in. That is the right choice for a one-time cleanup, a single aeration, or a property you mostly handle yourself.
The honest tradeoff: program work is routed and scheduled, and single jobs are fit in where there is room. In April and July there is not much room. If the timing of a particular job matters to you, the program is how you get it.
Why these are one department and not four
Lawn, beds, trees and weeds are the same property, and what happens to one shows up in another. A lawn that thins out every August is sometimes a fertilizer problem and more often an irrigation problem. Weeds that keep returning to the same bed are usually a mulch depth problem. A shrub that fails on one side of a walk and thrives on the other is telling you about drainage.
Because the same crews are on the property across all of it, those things get noticed by somebody who can do something about them, instead of being four separate service calls that never get compared.
What is handled separately
Sprinkler winterization, irrigation service and snow removal are scheduled separately, because their seasons do not line up with the March-to-October maintenance season. Tell us if you want them coordinated with your maintenance visits and we will line up the timing.
Getting a number
Maintenance is priced by the property — the size of the lawn, how much bed work there is, how many trees, and how it is laid out. There is no honest flat rate for it. We will look at it and give you a number before anything is scheduled.
